An Outstanding boys school in Barnet seeks a dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join their humanities department.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies Teacher lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of diverse religious beliefs and ethical issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the religious studies curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead religious studiesrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Studies.
- Proven experience in teaching religious studies at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for religious studies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
