Job Description
Fox Motors has a Parts Driver opening in Grand Rapids MI at Fox Ford. You would contribute to our overall vision Working together moving people throughout life by developing and maintaining trust with our customers and internal team that will build longterm relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Parts Driver has a passion to develop relationships. As a Parts Driver you are responsible for ensuring delivery and pickup of parts and equipment in a timely manner coordinate additional parts needs with internal departments and maintain an accurate log of deliveries and pickups. Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers satellite stores wholesale accounts and vendors.
- Checks with the parts manager wholesale representative inventory control administrator parts counter people or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any lastminute pickups or deliveries.
- Checks with the body shop each day to determine immediate parts needs.
- Delivers parts to body shop when needed and distributes to appropriate body technicians.
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pickup.
- Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups. Requests recipients signature on each delivery entry.
- Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- No prior experience required.
- Valid drivers license.
