WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Provides support for implementation troubleshooting andmaintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages ITsystem infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.Provides support to IT systems including daytoday operationsmonitoring and problem resolution for all of theclient/server/storage/network devices mobile devices etc. ProvidesTier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identificationdiagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for theescalation and communication of status to agency management andinternal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system andhardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systemsand installs/loads operating system software troubleshootsmaintains integrity and configures network components along withimplementing operating systems enhancements to improvereliability and performance.
- Provide support for implementation troubleshooting and maintenance ofIT systems
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification diagnosis andresolution of problems
- Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of ITsystems
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problemidentification diagnosis and resolution of problems
- Provide support to IT systems including daytoday operationsmonitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/networkdevices mobile devices etc.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agencymanagement and internal customers
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform systemcapacity analysis and planning
- Provide indepth experience in troubleshooting IT systems
- Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internalcustomers for escalated tickets
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remaininvolved in the resolution process
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operatingsystems and installs/loads operating system software troubleshoot maintainintegrity of and configure network components along with implementing operatingsystems enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Ten 10 years of experience as a Systems Admin. in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five 5 years of additional Systems Admin. experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- Eligible for PRIVAC
- Current Security certification
- RedHat Enterprise Linux installation (RHEL): expert level installation maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Security measures mandated for government systems processing highly sensitive information: experienced in installation maintenance troubleshooting
- Customer specific security status tracking/monitoring/reporting tools: Proficient
- Ansible
- Remote system management/maintenance
- Government OffTheShelf (GOTS) applications on missioncritical systems: installation/troubleshooting/maintenance
- Splunk Elastic Search or other status aggregating tools
- Virtualizatio
