Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development system design and team leadership. As a Lead Java Developer you will be responsible for guiding a team of developers designing scalable applications and ensuring best coding practices are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design development and deployment of highperformance Java applications.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and deliver new features.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
Ensure best coding practices design patterns and software development methodologies are followed.
Optimize application performance scalability and maintainability.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
Work closely with product managers architects and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
7 years of experience in Java development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Java Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Data etc. and Hibernate.
Experience with RESTful APIs Microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
Knowledge of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular or React is a plus.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication leadership and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to messaging queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Handson experience with security best practices in application development.
