Job Description
The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supporting the mechanical installation of photovoltaic (PV) trackers fixed tilt floating and special structures (carport) on a largescale solar project. To ensure that work is executed according to the manufacturers installation manual project specifications and safety standards. The role requires close collaboration with the site manager subcontractors and other relevant stakeholders.
Key Tasks
- Oversee material delivery form suppliers
- Monitor installation works piling upper structure module installation cable dressing
- Possible interaction with other stakeholders such as engineering and surveyor
- Supervise monitor mechanical works
- Monitor lifting activities
- Ensure quality inspections of materials (grainsize gravel concreate steel etc..
- Comply with building codes safety regulation and environmental standards
- Inspections of the works and their documentation
- Technical inputs during
- Maintaining the quality management system
- Support on weekly and monthly progress reporting
- Report delays and breaches
Qualifications :
- Technical education in : Construction Mechanical engineering
- 13 Years of experience in construction preferably in PV but wind gas and Oil can also be suitable
- Strong expertise in construction
- Good expertise in MS office
- Strong communication skills in English Other languages German (desired / beneficial) Spanish / French / Italian / Dutch (is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple technical tasks and stakeholders
- Familiar construction and logistics of solar projects
- Technical understanding of solar PV
- Flexile and willingness to travel
