Were looking for a motivated qualitydriven Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. In this role you will ensure a clean and sanitary environment properly manage the tools and equipment used in daytoday tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.
This is a seasonal and oncall position available seven days a week. The standard schedule is from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and may be adjusted based on hoteling operations. Hourly wage: $18.80.
You will report directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Thoroughly clean all assigned areas including waste removal washing dusting polishing vacuuming and sweeping following established protocols.
Experience in hotel room cleaning and bed setup is required.
Follow cleaning procedures accurately and consistently.
Operate vacuum cleaners and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain all cleaning tools and equipment in good safe and working condition.
Organize and prioritize work assignments efficiently.
Understand and follow instructions; work well as part of a team.
Identify and report workplace hazards promptly.
Adapt to changes in work assignments as needed.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in training and inservice education programs.
Attend scheduled meetings punctually and prepared.
Be available for shortnotice shift coverage overtime and oncall needs.
Perform deep cleaning tasks across multiple campus buildings as assigned.
Complete work orders to professional standards and within designated response times.
Comply with all regulations under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Represent the department with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- A great attitude!
- At least one 2 year experience in cleaning.
- Able to communicate with supervisor Client and general public
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- WHIMIS certified (Training can be supplied)
- A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
