Forklift Operator Night Shift
Reporting to the Production Manager. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift in the plant and operating a Boom Truck crane as required. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Reporting to the Production Manager. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift in the plant and operating a Boom Truck crane as required. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Factory plant environment
- Work environment involve some exposure to hazards of physical risks that require knowledge of an adherence to basic safety procedures
- Work environment requires wearing PPE: safety footwear safety glasses and hearing protection
- Promote health and safety in the plant
- Ability to lift up 50lbs
- Flexible to work approved overtime as required
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards
- Able to drive basic forklift as well as CombiLift
- Up to date NCCCO or equivalent crane certification required
- Knowledge of OSHA and ANSI standards in crane operations
- Flexible and able to adapt to fluctuations in the production schedule
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Obtain copies of production schedules or shipping orders and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas of the facility
- Loas and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks
- Move goods packed on skids around the storage facility
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays and follow inventory control instructions
- Check that loads are secure
- Perform daily equipment safety checks
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Operate Boom Truck crane as required
- Any other tasks assigned by the Plant Manager
Hours of Operation
- Monday to Thursday 3:30pm 1:00am
- Friday 2:00pm 10:30pm
