Responsibilities
Work in the EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) environment on standalone projects or Multidiscipline Engineering projects performing Autonomous scope of work
Support development of material / labor TIC cost estimates
Support development of engineering / design effort hour estimates
Support incorporation of vendor supplied packages into design
Coordinate with workshare office to ensure work packages are being prepared in compliance with home office requirements
Provide technical direction for selection of items to be specified or purchased ensure compliance with client requirements and standards check specifications and requisition packages prepared by others
Prepare technical bid evaluations and make recommendations for purchase
Review vendor data to assure specifications and project requirements are met
Review long lead requisition package deliveries for compliance with schedule critical path
Develop engineering and construction scope of work documents for Autonomous scope
Experience and Qualifications
Integration of highly complex mix of automated systems incorporating robotic work cells Independent cart technology AGVs and AMRs for material handling material loading and unloading Robotic pick and place for components and materials.
Design configuration and programming of high speed machinery utilizing:
Robotics SCARA 6Axis Delta Unified Robotic Control
Servo Motion
Linear Motors
Independent Cart Technology
Data Business and Production Level Coordination
Integrated system control Machine Level safety motion & data.
Complete design engineering fabrication management simulation and validation.
Data coordination of manufacturing with integration of manufacturing and business systems
Design of singular control systems incorporating:
Machine level control machine and system level safety
Motion control
Data management integration
Testing and simulation of full manufacturing process including validation of planned processes and expected throughputs.
Experience implementing and programming robotic systems Fanuc Kuka Yaskawa ABB or equivalent.
Experience with various PLC system programming Rockwell Automation Siemens Schneider Codesys or equivalent.
Experience with various HMI system programming Rockwell Automation (FT View and Optix) Siemens Schneider Ignition Aveva or equivalent.
Vision system design implementation and programming Keyence Cognex or equivalent.
Recognized Bachelors degree or Masters degree in engineering or technical field from an accredited college or University
