Job Description

Job Summary
Assist with shipping receiving and delivery of items from freight companies including processing necessary documents and confirming receipt of such items.

Essential Functions
Receiving and checking in shipments from various freight companies including FedEx and UPS Delivery of shipments to the correct departments on the College campus Safely drive a golf cart Must follow safety guidelines and utilize proper lifting and carrying techniques Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50 of the time Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time The person in this position needs to occasionally move or drive to other locations on and off campus Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation Use of manual dexterity Capable of climbing stairs balancing stooping and repetitive twisting The person in this position frequently communicates with others; must be able to exchange accurate information Frequently moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Duties indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

Required Qualifications
Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes Must meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office Must possess a valid Texas Drivers license good driving record and be insurable on Midland Colleges insurance policy
