Job Description
NVC Security are currently recruiting for a Relief Mobile Response Officer Nights. This is a part time position with variable hours as relief cover will be required on an adhoc basis. 1212.5hr shifts and the opportunity for additional overtime.
Relief officer will be required to work some weekends.
Shift time (subject to change) : 18:30pm 07:00am
The role will include:
- Locking and unlocking a variety of premises across Derby
- Conducting foot patrols of different sites
- Responding to any alarm activations which come in
- As well as any other duties as required such as ad hoc site visits
The majority of the work is based in and around Derbyshire you may occasionally be required to travel further afield to Nottinghamshire or Leicestershire so candidates should be confident drivers.
Ideally the right candidate will have had at least three years experience as a security officer and should be comfortable working night shifts. Candidates should be confident lone workers and any previous experience as a patrol/response driver is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
You should also be comfortable working as part of a team regularly checking in with management and other response officers and should be able to adapt to different sites and requirements. Candidates should be confident using a smartphone/tablet as you will be required to use multiple mobile apps and software.
Candidates will need a checkable work history for the previous five years and you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
You must be over 25 have a valid SIA Licence and a manual driving licence.
An NVC Security mobile patrol response van will be provided you would not be required to use your own vehicle other than to travel to our office to collect your van prior to the beginning of each shift.
