Job Description
Location: Toronto
Shift: Day
Pay: $30 $45 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
-
Oversee daily operations onsite ensuring tasks are completed safely efficiently and per project requirements.

Maintain a strong focus on safety by conducting inspections holding toolbox talks and ensuring PPE usage.

Provide guidance and training to crew members enhancing their skills in horticulture hardscapes softscapes carpentry masonry and equipment operation.

Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project progress communicate key updates and ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Manage materials site staging and ensure projects stay within budget and timeline.

Contribute your skills as a handson craftsperson when needed especially in the areas of hardscapes and softscapes.
Qualifications & Skills:

10 years in landscape construction.

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Valid Driver’s License (required). Experience with excavators skid steers and articulated loaders is a plus.

Strong understanding of how to read and interpret construction plans and job packages.
-
Proven ability to lead and train teams to achieve high standards of performance.
-
Indepth knowledge of safety regulations including those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
