Senior QA Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced QA Engineer who is equally strong in manual testing and understands the complexities of system integrations. In this role youll be responsible for validating new features identifying edge cases and ensuring our integrated systems work smoothly across services and user touchpoints.

Youll collaborate closely with product engineering and DevOps teams to design comprehensive test plans execute manual and automated test cases and continuously improve our testing processes.

What You ll Do

Own and execute manual testing efforts for new features regression cycles and integration scenarios. Create maintain and execute detailed test cases test plans and exploratory testing strategies. Validate endtoend workflows including crossservice integrations APIs and userfacing functionality. Identify document and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.

Collaborate with automation engineers to ensure proper coverage of manual test cases in automation suites.

Help maintain and enhance existing automated test coverage using frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.

Work with the CI/CD team to ensure testing is wellintegrated into the development and deployment pipelines.

Participate in design reviews and planning sessions to bring a qualityfirst perspective. What We re Looking For

5 years of handson experience in software QA with a strong focus on manual testing.
Proven experience in testing integrated systems APIs and endtoend workflows across services. Ability to thoroughly understand business and technical requirements to derive impactful test cases. Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. JavaScript Python Java).

Handson experience with test management tools (e.g. TestRail Zephyr XRAY).

Comfortable with modern automation tools/frameworks like Cypress Playwright or similar.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git Jenkins GitHub Actions).

Strong problemsolving and debugging skills with a sharp eye for identifying edge cases and risks.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work crossfunctionally in fastpaced environments.

Nice to Have

API testing experience using Postman REST Assured or similar tools. Familiarity with SQL and querying databases for validation.
Experience working in agile teams using tools like JIRA Confluence etc. Exposure to containerized environments like Docker or Kubernetes. Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
