We re now looking for a Senior Data Scientist to take a central role in shaping and delivering the company s data science function. This is a rare opportunity to join an earlystage data science team and work directly with leadership to influence technical direction infrastructure and impact.
What Youll Do:
As the Senior Data Scientist you ll be the technical backbone of a growing function. Working closely with the CTO and collaborating with a small team of engineers and scientists you will:
- Drive Model Development: Design and build machine learning models to power predictions identify patterns (e.g. clustering outlier detection) and support preclinical R&D.
- Implement Data Workflows: Develop robust scalable data pipelines and ensure clean wellmanaged datasets for experimentation.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineering product and scientific teams to embed datadriven solutions into research and development workflows.
- Prototype & Innovate: Test emerging tools and technologies and contribute to evaluating and implementing the bestfit data science stack.
- Promote Best Practices: Support the adoption of clean coding reproducibility and efficient experimentation across the data science lifecycle.
Requirements
- We re looking for someone who combines technical depth with curiosity and collaboration
- 5 8 years of handson data science experience across ML statistical modeling and data infrastructure
- Strong experience with tools like Databricks PyTorch TensorFlow Python R SQL and cloudbased platforms
- Experience with ML Ops version control and deploying models into production environments
- Comfort with exploratory data analysis and building interpretable visualizations (Tableau D3.js etc.
- An experimental mindset: you know how to test hypotheses iterate quickly and learn from failure
- Strong communication skills you can explain complex findings to nontechnical audience
- Bonus: Background in biomedical research life sciences or highimpact R&D environments
