Job Description
This is a remote position.
NIGHT SHIFT
Reporting to the President/CFO and working with direction from the team you will be a selfstarting highly organised and experienced AutoCAD Draftsperson. Experience working within the consulting industry would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will be highly detailoriented and experienced in creating professional shop drawings and performing takeoff services from floor plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop precise and professional shop drawings for various products using AutoCAD.
- Perform accurate takeoff services from floor plans for the companys product offerings.
- Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the team to refine designs and resolve any drafting issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all drawings and revisions.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or other related degree
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong understanding of drafting principles.
- Experience in shop drawings and takeoff services is highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills
While this is a workfromhome position it is important to note that this is a fulltime role not a freelance or flexiblehour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability just as you would in an office environment.
This role requires:
Discipline and commitment to set working hours (strict shift times not flexible)
Use of time tracking software during work hours
Active participation in team and client calls with your camera ON
Consistent availability and responsiveness throughout your shift
Treating this as a longterm fulltime job not a side gig or freelance task
Payroll is processed bimonthly.
