Their current President is preparing for retirement and is seeking a strong visionary leader to take the helm and lead the organization into its next phase.
Position Summary
The President will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the company responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business including field operations financial performance business development and organizational culture. This executive will guide the company with an owners mindset ensuring sustainable growth profitability and excellence in .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company
- Drive operational performance and ensure projects are completed safely ontime and within budget
- Manage and develop key members of the leadership team fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
- Collaborate with finance and accounting to ensure accurate forecasting budgeting and EBITDA performance
- Lead business development efforts and client relationship management
- Evaluate and implement process improvements including technology and equipment investments
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory environmental and safety standards
- Support and guide longterm succession planning and workforce development
Qualifications
- Required: Proven leadership experience in the underground wet utilities sector (e.g. water sewer storm drain installations)
- Strong understanding of excavation trenching pipe laying and utility systems
- Experience managing P&L in a business with at least $5M EBITDA
- Track record of building and leading highperforming teams
- Familiarity with Central Texas market dynamics and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication negotiation and organizational skills
- Preferred: Experience working in rockheavy environments and geographies
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
