About the Role
An Outstanding girls school in Harrow requires a dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to join their humanities department. You will deliver engaging religious studies lessons across Key Stages 35 fostering students understanding of diverse religious beliefs and ethical issues.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students understanding of diverse religious beliefs and ethical issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the religious studies curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead religious studiesrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Studies.
- Proven experience in teaching religious studies at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for religious studies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
