About the Role
A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their esteemed mathematics department. Youll inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 35.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations ensuring strong academic outcomes.
- Develop students analytical and problemsolving skills through mathematical inquiry.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead mathsrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Mathematics.
- Proven experience in teaching mathematics at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematical inquiry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
