Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach this town played an iconic role in the emergence of Californias surf culture and today is celebrated for its laidback vibe and fun active lifestyle.
The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms 115000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants a beach club lounge marketplace and inroom dining.
In this role you will be overseeing Pool and Club 19. At least 2 years of supervisory / management experience is required. Experience in luxury hotels and strong beverage knowledge is a plus.
- Classification:FullTime
- Shift:Various must have availability to work weekends weekdays and holidays.
- Pay Rate:The annual salary range for this role is $70000 $80000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager you will direct and organize the activities of the pool side restaurant and the Recreation department to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food beverage and labor costs.
- Ensures compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Interviews trains supervises counsels schedules and evaluates staff.
- Monitor quality of service by observing or asking customers about needs; resolve customer complaints about service food quality etc. by assessing problem and taking immediate action.
- Plan and direct all functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Manages and motivates all recreation personnel to include supervision training communicating objectives for the day scheduling and visually monitoring performance to ensure adherence to all service and productivity standards to provide guest satisfaction.
