Job Description
Our Valuations & Expert Services practice is a leading market player. We are wellknown in Canada and abroad for our expertise and services to corporate clients investment funds and their legal and other advisors.
We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our Expert Services team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Will be tasked to work on a variety of financial and valuation analyses for a variety of purposes including litigation/expert witness matters financial reporting fairness opinions investment valuations and income tax
- Prepare valuation analyses detailed financial models written reports and presentations
- Work closely with Managing Directors Directors and Vice Presidents in a growing practice area
- Develop a network of corporate legal and other professionals
Essential Traits:
- 2 years of professional services experience with valuation and accounting experience preferred but not essential
- CPA CBV or CFA designations or pursuit thereof is preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with corporate clients and their legal and other professional advisors
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and ability to perform indepth analysis
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while remaining detail oriented and ensuring projects meet timelines
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
