Job Description

Job Summary
The Computer Science and Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a Post Doctoral Researcher. Fields of interest is limited to information theory. Our key objective is to hire a recent conferred PhD with outstanding qualifications and core values of high standards of excellence in innovative research.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
PPerforming research to investigate the fundamental limits of secure communications in classical and quantum networks. Designing coding schemes for classicalquantum communication channels. Being knowledgeable in coding and information theory is expected. Furthermore possessing excellent writing and communication skills is required for disseminating research findings through publications in highimpact journals and conferences.

Required Qualifications
Holding a PhD in information and coding theory. Having solid experience in one or more of the following areas: quantum communication polar codes information theory and quantum information theory. Demonstrating experience in writing scientific research articles for toptier journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Communications and the IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory ISIT .
