Job Description
HTSS has an opening for a QA tech at Samuel Adams Brewery.
Wednesday Thursday Friday and every other Saturday: 5:15pm 5:30am
$21.75/hr
Responsibilities
Collect and conduct analysis of product at various stages along the production process as well as finished product to validate the integrity and meet quality standards/specifications.
Analysis includes but is not limited to: Alcohol Color Bu Sugar pH Haze and VDK Analysis
Perform operation maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment such as: Gas Chromatograph Beer Alcolyzer pH Meter Spectrophotometer Haze Meter Atomic Absorption digital gehaltemeter
Must observe and practice all Brewery Safety Procedures. Includes wearing the proper PPE at all times on the Production Floor
Required Experience and Skills
Must be proficient with computers and automated equipment to input and interpret data as required. Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel Access and QI Analyst
Proven mechanical aptitude demonstrated by work avocation or vocation
Demonstrated knowledge of GMP through work experience
Knowledge of basic laboratory and production safety practices and procedures. Must have demonstrated ability to successfully work in a selfdirected work force
