Job Description

SCHOOL/ORGANIZATION:St. Pauls School in Concord New Hampshire is a completely residential coeducational secondary school affiliated with the Episcopal Church and welcoming to people of all faiths. St. Pauls School seeks innovative experienced educators who are eager to participatein the academic athletic and cocurricular life of this dynamic residential community in our dedication to the pursuit of excellence in character and scholarship for our students.

DESCRIPTION: St. Pauls School seeks an ordained Episcopal priest to join our team of chaplains beginning in August 2025. The associate chaplains primary responsibilities will include sharing in the ministry of the chaplaincy and teaching both core courses and religious studies courses in the Humanities department. Reporting to the Dean of Chapel and Spiritual Life the chaplain will work collaboratively to develop and support morning chapel services noonday Wednesday services Sunday Community Eucharist and other services to include Holy Week and Easter. Additional responsibilities also include the following: pastoral counseling; advising spiritual life groups; teaching confirmation classes; and supporting social justice initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a member of the Humanities faculty the successful candidate will also participate in a variety of activities typical to the boarding school environment including advising dormitory association coaching committee work and other duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment working with the broader faculty in advancing the mission of the School and the commitment to teaching and learning in a holistic educational environment. Preference will be given to candidates who have an understanding of boarding school life. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Masters Degree (or advanced degree preferred)

Ordination: Ordination as a priest in the Episcopal church required with at least three years of experience in ministry preferred.

Salary: Competitive based on experience.
