Location: 100 Remote
Base Compensation: 80 100k
About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a talentedQA Automation Engineer to join our QA Engineering team.
As a QA Automation Engineer you will be responsible for design implementation and of automation test solutions for Seekr products. Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will work with the team to develop and manage automation test scripts using Selenium and JAVA as well as inhouse build tools and scripts. You will analyze test results for accuracy and compliance to further enhance existing test scenarios. This is a hybrid role that will require QA Engineer to work on both Automation 60 and Manual Testing 40 front.
- Serve as a liaison for finding answers from other team members while other test automation developers focus on writing code to provide for efficient test development process
- Provide assistance in test data generation
- Triage and debug failing test cases and report legitimate findings.
- During busy deployment schedule cover automated test results review triage findings perform basic test maintenance and report test failures
- Write automated tests based on provided code base and directions from senior test automation team members
- You will be expected to write code using Selenium/Java TestNG Unirest via InHouse Data Driven framework
- You will be responsible for both UI and API Automation and Manual testing
- Collaborate with Manual QA team members on Automatable test case solutions
- You will be working in Dynamic Data Environment with AI driven Web Applications
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 years of Quality Assurance experience
- 3 years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role with high emphasis on software testing
- Qualified candidate shall posses Test First mentality and Automation as a tool to augment testing capabilities.
- Solid experience with modern Java OOP
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver Page Object pattern along with experience writing robust web element locators.
- Familiarity with source control (GitLab) and collaboration technology (Jira) tools
- Familiarity with Web protocols and web service technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP)
- Experience with analyzing and optimizing web content for automation readiness
- Experience analyzing requirements for ambiguity and testability
- Experience in automated API testing
- Familiarly with Functional Programming Lambdas and Collections
- Practical and extensive knowledge of manual testing and software development life cycle processes
- Ability to work in fast paced dynamic startup environment
- Must be a team player highly organized with excellent people skills
- Solid handson QA experience with proven analytical and testing skills
- Demonstrated success in delivering and reporting processes test planning and optimized results
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Motivated selfstarter with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail
The following experience is a plus:
- Any AI or Machine Learning Domain experience
- Experience with Postgres DB is a plus
- Experience working in Start Up environments
