ROWE Professional Services Company is an employeeowned fullservice professional consulting firm specializing in civil engineering surveying aerial photography/mapping LiDAR landscape architecture planning and land development.
At ROWE our core values include safety quality people service and growth. We are seeking Design Engineers to join our proactive team of ethical talented passionate professionals and leaders at our Kentwood MI office.
POSITION SUMMARY
ROWE is currently looking for Design Engineers to join our team. This position will play a big role in growing our Design services team. Design Engineers work under the supervision of a Project Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform design tasks such as conceptual layouts grading and drainage and prepare design reports for projects.
- Compute engineering design calculations.
- Perform field reviews to determine existing conditions.
- Provide onsite inspections as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking forwardthinking safetyconscious and energetic individuals who are excited to work on both smallscale and largescale projects. Qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree in civil and/or environmental engineering.
- EIT certification preferred.
- 14 years of civil design experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is a plus.
- Ability to interact well with coworkers clients and regulatory agencies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail excellent analytical/judgement capabilities.
- Ability to work independently or on a team.
- Ability to work remote and in person effectively.
