What Youll Do
- Verifies cash drawer balance at the beginning and end of shift
- Processes customer payments by ticket received from Scale Operator; pays customers by cash or check for s sold
- Maintains checkout operations by following DPS and Metal Recycling Entity policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Enters A/P Freight Invoices into database
- Assists customers with Cash Card applications
- Answers incoming calls and answers questions/transfers calls as needed. Takes messages and routes incoming calls to appropriate point of contact
- Demonstrates dependability in attendance work completion and flexibility to meet business needs
- Performs other duties as assigned
What Youll Need
- Minimum 12 years cashier experience
- Must have strong customer service skills and a great attitude
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously by effectively prioritizing and organizing assignments
- Ability to use 10key and utilize a copy machine to scan copy and fax documents
- Proficient in MS Office programs Outlook Word Excel Powerpoint
- Ability to sit and stand for duration of shift up to 8 hours
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
