Job Description
Job Title: Retail Pharmacist
Location: Altoona PA 16601
Compensation: $68 $76/hr (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Flexible or ASAP.
Duration: 17 Weeks Contract
Guarantee Hours: 32 40 Hours
Shift: 7:00 AM 9:00 PM
- We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on the use dosage and potential side effects of medications.
- Review prescriptions to ensure they are appropriate for the patient and check for potential drug interactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Valid state pharmacist license.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay.
