Position Title:Boys Assistant Golf Coach

Dates:March 17th 2025 June 11th 2025

Job Summary:Responsible for the organization and instruction of the St. Anthony Village High School boys golf program. Has responsibility for setting up competitions practices and supervision of the studentathletes in the program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for competition and practice. Shares responsibility for the care and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Assists in game and facility scheduling coordinating team transportation communicates with parents and arranges game workers as needed. In addition responsible for other duties outlined in the coaches handbook and as assigned.

• Program Organization and Instruction:
  • Organize and instruct the team.
  • Set up and oversee games and practices.
  • Supervise athletes and ensure their safety and wellbeing.
  • Care for and maintain equipment. furniture.
• Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Assist in scheduling games and facilities.
  • Coordinate team transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents.
  • Arrange for game helpers as needed.
• Coaching Philosophy and Development:
  • Understand and articulate the purpose and goals of coaching.
  • Apply 3D coaching principles: fundamentals psychology and heart.
  • Lead the team in annual service projects andcharacter education lessons.
• Health and Safety:
  • Prioritize athlete health and safety physically emotionally and mentally.
• Additional Duties:
  • Perform other duties as required.

• Valid Minnesota coaching certificate or NFICEP Certified/MSHSL Coaches Education Program preferred.
• OR fulfills the following criteria:
  • In the judgment of the school board the person has the knowledge and experience necessary to coach the sport
• Ability to organize and supervise a complete boys golf program
• Substantial knowledge of the technical and tactical aspects of the game of golf

• Stipend range between $1800$2000
