A lab within Fred Hutch is seeking a Lab Aide Part Time to perform routine work in a clinical or research laboratory. This position is a part time opportunity working 5 hours on Fridays.
Responsibilities
Works under the close supervision of the Lab Manager or other lab personnel.
JOB DUTIES
- Prepare media and reagents such as stock solutions.
- Rinse and prepare glassware for cleaning.
- Deliver glassware to storage areas.
- Maintain clean and orderly laboratory area.
- Clean and maintain lab/lab equipment.
- Check and replenish supplies.
- May assist with experiments and setup.
- Perform clerical duties as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from High School or equivalent with interest in the sciences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some lab experience and/or college level biology or chemistry courses.
The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $29.54 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
