Position Overview

Pivot Onsite Innovations has an immediate need for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) at our clients construction site in Morrisville PA. This position offers an opportunity to work at a dynamic worksite and make an impact on employee health wellness and safety!

Looking for a PRN to cover every Saturday 6AM to 330PM!

Position Description:
The OHN/Registered Nurse coordinates health care for employees in the onsite clinic and oversees evaluation and case management of workplace injuries as well as compliance with medical surveillance programs. The RN relays information to employees and client key stakeholders regarding workplace safety and injury prevention as well as assuring compliance with healthrelated OSHA mandates.

Position Responsibilities:

Clinical

  • Treatment of acute occupational injuries
  • Perform drug tests hearing tests pulmonary function and fit tests
  • Respond to medical emergencies and initiate and facilitate ongoing health and wellness screenings and wellness functions for employees
  • Case management of workmans compensation claims in conjunction with the employer representative and insurance carrier
  • Facilitate return to work and light duty assignments for employees with work related injuries.
  • Maintain current case log for workplace injuries outlining treatment plan for weekly case review
  • Assure compliance with OSHA programs such as hearing conservation blood borne pathogen training random drug screening and follow up programs
  • Maintain health care unit inventory of medications and supplies
  • Assist the employer representative with administration of NonOccupational Disability Program.
  • Exhibit a positive and proactive attitude towards managing the clinic the clinical functions and the patient flow
  • Other duties as assigned

Administrative

  • Maintenance of charts and employee records
  • Prepare and supervise the clinic/patient interaction of the Overseeing Physician as necessary
  • Maintenance of charts and employee records
  • Case management of workmans compensation claims
  • Maintain current case log for workplace injuries outlining treatment plan for weekly case review
  • Assure compliance with OSHA and DOT programs such as hearing conservation blood borne pathogen training random drug screening and follow up program
  • Maintain and update OSHA log monthly

Position Requirements:

  • 5 years nursing experience
  • 2 years Occupational Health experience
  • Onsite occupational health experience a plus
  • Certified to perform DOT Urine Drug & Alcohol Screens a plus
  • Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist a plus
  • Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid
  • Valid State License
  • Ability to communicate with all levels across the organization effectively
  • Strong administrative and management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain high level of professionalism ethics and confidentiality
  • Experienced in developing health and wellness programs and performing ergonomic assessment
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation case management and regulations
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA ADA FMLA and OSHA regulations
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and production facility practices.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Excel PowerPoint and Word to generate reports spreadsheets presentations and training courses

Salaried ranges listed are for full time 40 hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentive GAP overtime and stipends are subject to the rules of each program and may not be available in all locations. Individual base pay depends on various factors in addition to primary work location such as complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

Minimum Salary/Wage

USD $50.00/Hr.
