Job Description

Partner Staffing is the gotorecruiter for difficult important and timesensitive positions inWestern Canada. We work with proactive clients who understand theimportance of having exceptional staff.

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client to find anenergetic Senior Project Manager to support our clients Operations Team.The ideal candidateapplies a structured methodology to construction projects encompassing client relations administrative reporting budget management and scheduling. This ensures effective coordination tracking reporting and monitoring of construction project activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Adopt and integrate allthe clients project management systems
  • Manage projectactivities throughout the cycle of the project including the allocation ofadequate resources scheduling documentation and budgets
  • Achieve the project budgetand complete accurate monthly forecasts
  • Engages strategicallywith clients assessing and assuming responsibility for all externalstakeholders while employing diplomacy and professionalism to mutually enhancerelationships
  • Oversees onsiteconstruction activities and facilitates communication among subcontractorsconstruction site personnel office staff and clients as needed
  • Promotes the growth ofhighperforming project teams by overseeing training coaching and mentoring.Ensures consistent feedback is provided to staff including formal quarterlyevaluations of employee progress


Requirements

  • Technical diploma in a constructionrelated field (CET) or relatedengineering degree
  • 8 years of progressively responsible work experience in Alberta withinthe commercial/Institutional construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of construction documentation drawingsspecifications cost analysis budgets and contemporary construction practicesand methods.
  • Proficiency in effective communication and collaboration with variousproject stakeholders anticipating their requirements and proactively addressingchallenges within a dynamic setting.
  • Superior leadership qualities with a demonstrated track record ofdealing successfully with internal and external clients
  • Demonstrated capability and skill in inspiring coaching and guidingfellow team members to advance both technically and professionally in theirrespective careers.
  • Strong negotiation skills
