Job Description
Are you ready to suit up
GardaWorld is currently looking for experienced Security Guard Supervisorto join our team.The Security Guard Supervisor is responsible for managing contract operations a team of security guards as well as overseeing call response and daytoday activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws procedures and position directives. This is a Monday to Friday position with pay rate being between 16$18$/hour.
What youll be doing
- Manage onsite security team
- Create and update schedules
- Assist with interior and exterior patrols
- Train retain and develop your security team
- Interface with client operations to ensure smooth business
- Produce coverage reports and site data
- Enforce property rules city bilaws and other applicable laws
- Deter and respond to incidents on property
- Maintain a presence to ensure the safety and security of all persons on site
- Complete reports on a regular basis
- Respond to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapments/medical emergencies)

What were looking for
- Minimum 35years of security supervisory experience a must
- Valid Security Guard licence
- Above average communication skills (written and oral)
- First Aid and CPR certification a must
- Proactive attentiontodetail selfmotivated and team player
- Professional attitude and ability to maintain and promote harmonious relationships with clients and staff
- Schedule flexibility
- Some College/University asset such as Police Foundations Criminology Administrative Knowledge of Legal Procedures and Criminal Code
- Ability to operate CCTV systems and emergency equipment Experience with Fire Systems an asset
- Experience with Payroll Systems (Winteam) an asset
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Must have valid drivers license
