Scientific Director
Research write edit and proof copy to the highest standard (scientific and grammatical) for a broad range of medical communications channels and for various audiences including abstracts posters manuscripts slide decks print items and digital.
Responsibilities
Provide Scientific Acumen and Support
Research write annotate editand proof contentto thehigheststandard fulfilling the requirements of the client and direct manager while meeting all objectives and deadlines
Conductliteraturesearches andidentify appropriatesupporting material
Manageand coordinatematerials through inception to approval stage
Accurate/precise interpretation and incorporationof client/authorcorrections
Assists projectteams by providing scientificinputat critical junctures
Assist with presentations to clients/speakers/third party organizations
Createand maintain references for assigned products
Supportseniorscientific staff as needed
Provideonsitesupport to meet client requirements eg onsitewriting/editing/production faculty support A/V data gathering general assistance when appropriate
Effective interaction with internal staff at anappropriatescientificand professional level

Background/experience and skills
Advanced Scientific/Medical degreePhD PharmD MD)
4yearsmedical/scientificwriting/editing experience
High attention to detailstyle/consistency grammar syntax scientific accuracy layout etc.
Knowledgeof a numberof therapeutic areas medical products andthepharmaceutical industry
Good project/timemanagementand organizational skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment often under very tighttimelines
Knowledgeable in PowerPoint
