Job Description

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Community Access Services
Location: Oregon City OR 97045
Pay: $39 per hour
Schedule:Thursday and Saturday 6am6pm


Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Overview
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Community Access Services (CAS) you will provide vital healthcare support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will include assisting with medical needs promoting overall health and wellness and empowering individuals to live independently and engage meaningfully in their community. What Youll Do as an LPN: As an LPN at CAS you will:
  • Provide healthcare support by assisting individuals with their medical needs and daily health routines.
  • Administer medications monitor vital signs and document health information.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals and the DSP team to ensure optimal health and wellness.
  • Advocate for the rights choices and needs of individuals in your care.
  • Foster a safe inclusive and nurturing environment aligned with CASs mission and values.
  • Assist with transportation and other daily tasks to enhance community engagement.

Qualifications
  • LPN licensure in the state of Oregon (required).
  • Previous experience in caregiving social work or a related healthcare field is beneficial but not required we offer comprehensive training!
  • Knowledge and experience with tube feeding care for J & G tubes nebulizer treatments IV maintenance and various pumps.
  • Proficient in airway maintenance trach care ventilation support and suctioning techniques.
  • Indepth understanding of medication administration procedures and awareness of potential side effects.
  • Compassionate patient and committed to advocating for individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a national background check.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
