Summary

For the SD Equipment Engineering department we are looking for a Digital Hardware / SubSystem Architect (f/m/d) at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The Sensor Computers Engineering department is responsible for the definition and development of digital devices and computer platforms. The tasks range from the definition of device requirements and the creation of the architecture to device verification qualification and certification.

Your Tasks

  • Creation of functional and nonfunctional requirements for the devices

  • Development of device architectures based on customer requirements in collaboration with the system hardware software and FPGA team taking environmental requirements into account

  • Definition of internal and external interfaces

  • Definition of the requirements for the hardware software and FPGA components

  • Evaluation of results from the analyses (thermal and strength analysis)

  • Analysis and evaluation of the HW architecture in relation to SWaP

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in electrical or communications engineering or comparable

  • Experience in the application of environmental standards and procedures (MIL STD 461 MIL STD810 DO160

  • Knowledge in the development of device architectures for aviation equipment

  • Knowledge of IEEE ANSI / VITA as well as SOSA and MOSA standards

  • Knowledge of optical and electrical interfaces

  • Ability to work in a team as well as an independent and conscientious way of working

  • Flexibility and high level of commitment

  • Fluent German and good English skills
