Maintenance Technician Dawson GA
Oil Division
This is a fulltime hourly position with Growth Potential!
The Maintenance Technician provides maintenance support which includes preventative maintenance work and routine maintenance on production equipment.
Job Description
Respond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctly
Disassemble repair replace rebuild and install mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams sketches operation manuals and manufacturers specifications
Perform regular inspections of production equipment and performing preventive maintenance duties
Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning maintenance problems regarding equipment
Fabricate parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasks
Weld parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasks
Perform semiskilled to unskilled labor duties related to the installation maintenance and repair of various equipment
Provide oncall coverage
Responsible for ensuring work area is kept clean
Order and inventory parts equipment and/or tools as assigned by lead
Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
13 years of prior maintenance experience preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Hourly and salaried nonexempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired employees will be in an atwill position and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
The pay for this position is expected to be:
$24.19hr
