$19.15 HourlyGeneral Description/Primary Purpose
This position provides accounting services to support multiple business units within Business Services. Services provided include financial statement preparation and analysis inventory control and reconciliations journal voucher processing cash control reconciliations and deposits tracking of contract deliverables for multiple revenue generating contracts departmental recharges and external customer billing and A/R management. This position also serves as backup for customer service in the front office. This position is the only one providing these services and acts as direct backup to the Budget Coordinator. Position requires the ability to analyze business situations and to independently develop recommendations and solutions to mitigate risks and improve business controls and reporting of financial results.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization; or a high school diploma and four years of experience directly related to the job functions. Directly related college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
