SUMMARY

This is a key support position within the executive team of Power Plus. Reporting to the Executive Administrator this role is a highlevel support member for the company. The Executive Administrative Assistant is a wellorganized individual with a technical aptitude and a desire to serve in a support role. The role consists of providing administrative support coordinating education programs interfacing with internal and external customers communications through various media points and supporting companywide events. Ideally the Executive Administrative Assistant has experience in a similar role a strong business acumen is initiativetaking friendly with a strong mindfulness and a willingness to go beyond in following up on information.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate proactively with the Executive Administrator in providing clear and direct communication with internal and external customers within Power Plus and the Giving University foundation.
  • Accurately review and screen student applications and grant submissions for content on behalf of the foundation.
  • Organize and maintain class schedules including student attendance instructor support and email communication followup.
  • Maintain lists/databases of students and organizations.
  • Coordinate social media material collection (video/pictures/content) for posting on multiple media channels and webpage for foundation.
  • Participate in Giving University classes as student and administrative support.
  • Must have the maturity and discretion to be able to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Support the V.P. Operations as needed.
  • Coordination of event planning for Power Plus meetings training customer events etc.
  • Create and contribute content for company newsletter.
  • Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 57 years of experience within a related administrative background.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing spreadsheets databases and presentation software (MSWord Excel PowerPoint Adobe Planning Center Canva social media platforms. WordPress and HubSpot knowledge are a plus).
  • Previous experience managing sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
  • Previous experience in education and/or the nonprofit field is a plus.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Work requires continual diligence in composing typing and proofing materials establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • An energetic forwardthinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
  • A wellorganized and selfdirected individual who is a collaborator.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple sources with ability to identify problems and solutions

Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 $27.00
