Job Description

We are looking for a detailoriented Software System Validation Engineer to validate and ensure the reliability functionality and safety of software systems in automotive and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The candidate will have experience in software testing validation methodologies and automotive standards with a focus on delivering highquality systems through rigorous testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the endtoend validation strategy for ADAS systems covering hardware software and integration testing.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and validation frameworks for ADAS features.
  • Design and oversee the development of automated test scripts and frameworks for ADAS validation.
  • Validate integration of ADAS components across platforms ensuring compliance with safetycritical standards like ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
  • Perform functional regression and performance testing across diverse environmental and edgecase scenarios.
  • Work closely with software hardware and system architects to address design and validation challenges.

Skill set (Must Have):

  • C programming python MATLAB skills for micro controllers (ARM Cortex M and A series)
  • Proficiency in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies for Radar system validation including familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Solid understanding of hardware components Oscilloscope spectrum analyzer.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including hardware engineers software developers and architects.
  • Proficiency in documenting test results findings and recommendations in a clear and organized manner including the ability to create technical reports and specifications.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

Skill set (Good to have)

  • Familiarity with safety standards like ISO 26262 ASPICE.
  • Familiarity with Requirement management tools like ELM
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Git and defect management tools JIRA)
  • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks including their practical implementation

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in embedded systems development and validation in Automotive industry .
