Job Summary

Innovation is a 140 person Mass General Brigham business development unit responsible for the worldwide commercial application of the breakthroughs and unique capabilities of the Systems 80000 employees and faculty. It drives revenue generation and patient benefit through industry collaborations investing company creation licensing and innovation management for the Systems Harvard Medical School appointed faculty and hospitals including its core Harvard affiliates Brigham and Womens Hospital Massachusetts General Hospital Massachusetts Eye and Ear and McLean Hospital.

As part of the Innovator Growth Division (IGD) the Project Coordinator will support new and existing innovators foster a vibrant innovator community and help strengthen Mass General Brighams leadership in innovation. Key responsibilities include executing innovation education outreach and engagement programs managing project activities coordinating events collaborating with stakeholders and implementing communication strategies to achieve program goals.

The ideal candidate is detailoriented proactive and skilled in project management and communication offering an exciting opportunity to drive impactful programs that advance innovation across Mass General Brigham.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Overall Responsibilities:

Program and Event Coordination
Coordinate all aspects of IGD training and educational programs including planning and executing flagship events.
Manage event logistics such as AV setup catering venue selection speaker outreach and attendee registration to ensure seamless .
Track and monitor project milestones deliverables and metrics to measure program success.
Foster strong collaboration within the innovator community by managing logistics and implementation for initiatives like the Innovation Champion Model (name TBD).

Communication and Engagement Strategy
Drive engagement by creating impactful content including newsletters marketing collateral and promotional materials to support internal and external outreach efforts.
Develop and execute targeted email campaigns analyze performance metrics and refine strategies to maximize impact.
Manage and maintain social media platforms with timely consistent and engaging content.
Update and maintain website content to align with program goals and increase visibility.
Coordinate and prepare presentations to effectively communicate program updates a initiatives to stakeholders.
Edit organize and oversee online educational content on the central innovation platform ensuring highquality accessible resources for the innovation community

Possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites.



Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Event Management or a related field or equivalent experience.


Experience

  • 1 2 years of experience with Program Support or Program management required ideally in a role focused on administration marketing communications or event management
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities working effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) Google Docs and familiarity or willingness to learn eventrelated platforms like Constant Contact HootSuite or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and strong problemsolving abilities.
  • Familiarity with website management and basic social media coordination is a plus.
  • Experience working with Csuite executives is a plus but not required.
