Job Description
The Red Hat Agility and Technical Solutions (AnTS) team is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join us in Raleigh NC. In this role you will analyze tooling data to generate insights that support both departmental and enterprise teams. The ideal candidate excels at leveraging large datasets to identify opportunities for product and process optimization and applying models to test and refine different approaches. They should have strong expertise in data mining analysis methods and trend identification and experience using various data tools to extract meaningful insights. A proven ability to translate data into actionable business outcomes is essential. This role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders associates and functional teams making strong communication and analytical skills key to success.
What You Will Do
Work on crossfunctional projects with leadership project managers data analysts and other stakeholders to understand and achieve business priorities
Elicit business and technical requirements from stakeholders and turn them into analytics reporting and dashboard solutions
Translate abstract data into easily digestible and highly visual dashboard applications and executivelevel report deliverables
Build crossfunctional relationships with business units to cultivate successful longterm partnerships
Mine and analyze data from across company databases to drive optimization and improve business strategies
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and datagathering techniques
Develop reports and dashboards and present and explain results to nontechnical audiences
What You Will Bring
5 years of experience with a Bachelors degree or Masters degree or equivalent experience
Must be able to work in the Raleigh NC office
Skill in datadriven decisionmaking statistical analysis and machine learning models
Proficiency in SQL Python (including writing database views) R and JavaScript
Strong problemsolving data visualization communication skills and crossfunctional skills in a global environment
Experience with Tableau QlikView D3 and EazyBI for data visualization and advanced spreadsheet manipulation
Experience with translating business objectives into actionable insights automating reporting and setting up datadriven processes
Presentation skills for sharing insights with stakeholders
Ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities with a selfdirected proactive approach to problemsolving
The following is considered a plus:
Experience with MDX and large database systems
Experience integrating data from Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location experience applicable skills and training external market value and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hats compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus commission and/or equity. For positions with RemoteUS locations the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
