Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adults Community Team based in Blackpool.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will assess and review needs under the eligibility criteria of adult social services. You will coordinate the allocation of safeguarding referrals and monitor their progress. You design individual care packages with the service user family and/or carers within a community setting. You will also request funding for packages of care via the resource allocation group through weekly presentations and negotiations. You will undertake safeguarding investigations within community and residential settings and chair professional and formal meetings related to service users such as multidisciplinary meetings and case conferences. You will contribute to team duty rotas to provide prompt and emergency support as required. Additionally you will maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuous professional development reflective practice training and relevant postqualifying awards under the PQ framework. You will keep uptodate with relevant research government guidance legislation and best practices in your specialist areas of practice. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement and development of adult services providing oversight and support to other professionals.

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role you need to be registere4d with Social Worker England be eligible to work in the UK. You should have a UK driving licence and have postqualified experience. Additionally you should have a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
