Job Description
Client Name: City of New York
Start Date: July 2025
End Date: July 2026
Contract Length (in weeks): 52
- Design develop and implement FSBA system enhancements using .NET Core MVC Bootstrap HTML5 Angular/React and Web API
- Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design coding testing and deployment
- Ensure interoperability and seamless integration with The City of New Yorks
systems using modern data integration technologies such as REST API and Service Bus - Develop RESTful APIs and Web Services for data exchange and reporting functionalities
- Perform unit testing integration testing and bug fixes to ensure system stability
- Maintain and optimize database structures within SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server
AlwaysOn - Support Robot Automation Process (RAP) improvements and scripting automation
enhancements - Provide documentation technical support and ongoing maintenance postdeployment
- Ensure compliance with technical standards including:
- Adhering to the specified technology stack (e.g. .NET Core MVC Angular/React Azure DevOps)
- Integrating with The Citys systems using modern data integration technologies (e.g. REST API Service Bus)
- Ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA compliance and multilingual support
- Implementing responsive design compatible with various devices and browsers
- Utilizing SSO ISAM for authentication and RBAC for authorization
- Developing applications with extendable architecture and advanced reporting capabilities
- Configuring applications for minimal code changes and maintaining business rules
- Providing application feedback management screens email notifications and help functionality
- Ensuring CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in full stack development within enterprise applications
- Strong proficiency in C# ASP .NET Core MVC Web API HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript Angular and jQuery
- Experience using MS Visual Studio 2019 SQL Server 2019 and Azure cloud services
- Handson experience with RESTful Web Services SOAP Entity Framework and Dapper ORM tools
- Strong background in testing debugging and application security best practices
- Familiarity with the specified technology stack and integration technologies
- Experience working with The Citys applications and technical standards
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline setup and automation scripting
- Strong understanding of The Citys security compliance and reporting standards
