Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD Chemist to join our laboratory as a specialist in LC MS/MS. Those with experience or willing to be trained are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analytical chemistry with experience in lipid extraction LCMS/MS and MALDI TOF . The focus is on the development and implementation of advanced analytical methods for lipidomics proteomics and metabolomics in general. Experience in data analysis particularly within the context of lipid biology and neuroscience is desirable. Responsibilities for the position include: Develop and optimize lipid extraction and analytical methods using LCMS/MS and MALDI TOF . Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of lipids and other metabolites from biological samples. Analyze and interpret complex data sets using appropriate software and statistical methods. Contribute to the design and of experiments related to lipid biology metabolomics and proteomics. Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation. Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations summarizing experimental results. Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and maintain accurate records.
