Sr Associate Financial Analyst Bank Tech Finance

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Senior Financial Analyst to join our Bank Tech Finance team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic and financial oversight of technology and innovation initiatives within the banks operations. As a trusted partner to senior leaders you will manage budgets analyze financial performance and deliver insights that drive impactful decisionmaking.

Key Responsibilities:

Budget Ownership & Financial Oversight:

Manage budget and expense forecasting for key technology initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment with strategic goals and minimize variances.

Analysis & Reporting:

Build and present executivelevel reports to communicate financial results and forecast insights.

Conduct detailed financial analyses to evaluate trends impacts and opportunities.

Develop compelling narratives to contextualize financial outcomes within business priorities.

Strategic Partnership & Influence:

Serve as a strategic advisor to business and technology leaders leveraging financial insights to influence actions and outcomes.

Build and maintain strong partnerships across business units to support strategic updates and financial goals.

Proactively challenge current processes to drive efficiency effectiveness and innovation.

AdHoc Projects & Innovation:

Support special projects delivering actionable insights and recommendations.

Partner with crossfunctional teams to tell the story behind data diagnose results and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

Strong analytical problemsolving and critical thinking skills.

Exceptional communication and influencing abilities to articulate financial insights and strategies to senior stakeholders.

Proficiency in managing large data sets conducting variance analyses and creating executiveready presentations.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and manage competing priorities effectively.

Experience in financial reporting P&L management and forecasting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or military experience

• At least 2 years experience in financial analysis

• At least 2 years experience with financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Masters Degree in Finance

• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license

• 3 years experience in financial analysis

• 3 years experience with financial modeling

• Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

The minimum and maximum fulltime annual salaries for this role are listed below by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidates offer letter.
