The opportunity
The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a Better Working World. An essential function under EY Business Enablement Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledgesharing across categories and regions streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCSs value for the EY organization and the worlds supply chain.
A key component of SCS is Global Procurement whose purpose is to drive significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology Talent Alliances and Brand Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize longterm value for its people clients and communities.
The Alliances Procurement team build and strengthen our relationships across the EY Alliance ecosystem ensuring visibility and value realization across our account base while supporting the building of new platforms and seamlessly shifting to protect EY investments. Alliances are cobranded commercial business relationships between independent companies that combine innovative business capabilities to help create client value.
Through this opportunity you will support the EYAdobe Alliance within Global Procurement. This Alliance designs and delivers transformative experience cloud solutions to drive advances in organizations digital transformation agendas. Supported by Adobe solutions across customer data content and commerce the EY and Adobe teams help organizations improve their marketing capabilities and analytics enabling actionable insights that reduce cost and drive revenue
Your key responsibilities
- Be a senior contributor on an Alliances Procurement team aligned to one or more strategic Alliances.
- Develop Alliance strategies for assigned suppliers in partnership with Alliance teams.
- Stakeholder and supplier relationship management
- Act as a senior strategic leader/contributor and trusted business advisor manage complex transactions directly or indirectly working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver successful results.
- Manage full lifecycle of contracts for assigned programs of work and key suppliers.
- Proactively manage contract negotiations for assigned projects
- Build and foster collaborative working relationships with internal business partners.
- Supporting and leading stakeholders through the Onboarding of Alliances Goods and Services endtoend process.
- Socialization and facilitation of the Procurement policy and processes ensuring that the project teams and stakeholders understand the value of the policy and adhere to it accordingly.
- Timely and frequent submission of management information including project status and savings reporting.
- Supporting Supply Chain Services overall global strategies
- Facilitation of any needed market research to identify potential and develop existing Alliances ensure competitive pricing and terms etc.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience with senior stakeholder engagement with the ability to collaboratively codevelop strategies and set and manage expectations.
- Comprehensive experience with negotiating contracts related to cloudbased solutions software licensing & rationalization and professional services
- Comprehensive experience with negotiating contracts globally and regionally.
- Experience of working in a Sourcing/Procurement/Supplier Management team in a complex and global environment.
- Strong influencing and networking skills as the organization relies on working in crossfunctional teams across borders.
- Fluent effective transparent and timely English communication skills required across multiple mediums (email voice IM etc) in a global environment.
- The ability to independently manage and prioritize workload.
- Proficient organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for change.
- Provide exceptional Client Service.
- May assume counsellor responsibilities as part of the role at a future date.
To qualify for the role you must have
- 7 10 years experience of Alliance procurement or equivalent multipillar relationship management with an emphasis on technology sourcing.
- Experience in a leadership position a plus.
- Business degree or equivalent a plus.
- Combination of work and experience may be considered.
Ideally youll also have
- CPM (US) CIPS (UK) or similar Procurement certification is welcomed but not essential.
- Good knowledge of IT suppliers and emerging technologies.
- Experience working in an IT role as part of delivering technology solutions is a plus.

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $96300 to $180100. The salary range for New York City Metro Area Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $115600 to $ 204600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and geography. In addition our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage pension and 401(k) plans and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our teamled and leaderenabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external client serving roles to work together in person 4060 of the time over the course of an engagement project or year.
