Premium Suite Runner Part-Time PPL Center

ThePremium Suite Runner assiststhe Suite Attendants Premium Services Manager in providing guests with a pleasant experience. The Runner is primarily responsible for preparing and stocking the Suites Areas and Pantry with theappropriate product utensils & supplies.They assist in the set up and of preordered food and beverage items as well as delivery of restaurant ordersduringthe event.Following the event the Runner will ensure the Pantry is cleaned and restocked.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $12 to $16 plus tips

PPL Center is a stateoftheart multipurpose arena in downtown Allentown PA and home of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The arena seats more than 10000 for concerts and more than 8500 for Lehigh Valley Phantoms professional hockey games making it the regions largest events venue.

The amenitiespacked PPL Center hosts more than 150 events each year offering something for everyone including the Lehigh Valley Phantoms the AHL affiliate of the NHL Philadelphia Flyers live concerts family shows trade shows youth sports high school and collegiate events conferences graduations and so many more.

• Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in the areas of guest service interaction with coworkers and uniform standards.
• Take pride in personal appearance; reporting to work in neat and clean clothing; maintaining wellgroomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.
• Responsible for setup of food service areas within specific suites or club areas based upon preorders and dayof orders.
• Ensures all assigned areas are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders.
• Must demonstrate ability to read and comprehend Banquet Event Orders.
• Monitors and maintains food and beverage quality.
• Monitors and maintains inventory control and product requisition fulfilling.
• Full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
• Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
• Maintains sanitation health and safety standards in work areas.
• Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
• Assures that the location equipment in operable and clean prior to the start of an event.
• Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
• All other duties as assigned by food and beverage management.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 or over.
• At least 1 year Experience serving in a premium setting.
• Possess valid food handling and alcohol service certificate if required by state and federal regulations (or be willing to obtain one within a 60 day timeframe from date of hire).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a friendly positive attitude with coworkers
  management staff volunteers and guests.
• Ability to speak read and write in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends some holidays and long hours.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent customer service organization and time management.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities keeping a positive attitude and a solutionbased outlook.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
