The SAP Basis Architect designs and optimizes the SAP system landscapes ensuring scalability performance and longterm maintainability. This role involves defining architecture strategies evaluating new technologies and ensuring system integration across different environments. The architect collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to align SAP infrastructure with organizational goals.

Technology SAP Basis Architect with focus on S/4 HANA on SAP Rise

Job Description
The SAP Basis Architect designs and optimizes the SAP system landscapes ensuring scalability performance and longterm maintainability. This role involves defining architecture strategies evaluating new technologies and ensuring system integration across different environments. The architect collaborates with business and IT stakeholders to align SAP infrastructure with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing scalable SAP architectures (on SAP Rise)
- Defining migration strategies for S/4HANA and cloud adoption
- Evaluating and implementing new technologies (e.g. SAP BTP Kubernetes or automation tools)
- Ensuring high availability and disaster recovery planning
- Performance tuning and optimization of SAP applications
Required
- Expertise in SAP system architecture and infrastructure design
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA NetWeaver cloud platforms and SAP Rise
- Experience with SAP migrations upgrades and landscape transformations
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
- Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform Ansible etc.
- Require bilingual capability in German and English
- Open to local travel to client premises in Munich and Frankfurt weekly 3 days
