Job Description

We seek a Service Desk Analyst to join our team which maintains multiuser computer systems and assists end users in person and through technology.

Our Bungendorebased team (near Canberra) supports a group that ensures critical information reaches the right people at the right time directly impacting ground operations.

This project requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen with a current NV2 level security clearance.

Working together with our Leidos Team and the customer this position will work within

  • Account Management:Create and manage administrator and service accounts and maintain clear system documentation.
  • Performance Tuning:Optimise system performance.
  • Software Installation:Deploy systemwide software.
  • Storage Management:Manage and optimise storage space.
  • Server Maintenance:Support and maintain server platforms and related applications.
  • Monitoring:Manage enterprisewide monitoring platforms.
  • Documentation:Create technical documentation including plans procedures and manuals.
  • Liaison:Facilitate communication between teams and manage delivery and escalation processes.
  • Project Management:Plan monitor and report on team activities.

Work conditions

  • This position is based 100 onsite
  • Core hours: Three rolling shifts betweenhrs.
  • Occasional oncall and weekend work.

Essential

  • Experience in server desktop and Active Directory administration in a mediumtolarge scale environment.
  • Proficiency in multidomain/Active Directory and TCP/IP networks.
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory DHCP DNS Networking Storage and Backup.

Preferred

  • Experience with server hardware VCE vBlock NetApp EMC and Cisco hardware.
  • Familiarity with SCCM SCOM SharePoint EMC Networker Citrix VDI and McAfee products.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 certification.
  • Expertise in VMware management suite and SharePoint.
