JOB DESCRIPTION
Journeyman Electrician Description:
Journeyman electricians are responsible for conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment as well as troubleshooting in a variety of work areas. They must always follow strict safety procedures to prevent workplace incidents and often use tools such as pliers and screwdrivers to disconnect equipment.
Journeyman Electrician Tasks:
- Install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings.
- Troubleshoot motor and controls.
- Layout and prepare equipment for installation.
- Install feeder wires.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- MUST have Current State Journeyman Electricians License
- MUST be able to pass a background screen
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to multitask while staying organized
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Positive customer service skills
- Experience in lighting a plus!
