Job Description
Position: Journeyman Technician
Location: Thomas KIA of Highland
Industry: Automotive Service (KIA and Hyundai)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $38 $60 per hour based on experience and skill level
- Bonus Plan: Up to $60.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on KIA and Hyundai vehicles including routine inspections (oil changes tire rotations etc. and complex mechanical/electrical diagnostics.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using diagnostic tools and systems.
- Work with service advisors to communicate repair needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Stay current with automotive technologies through continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma (postsecondary education/certifications preferred)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an automotive technician (KIA/Hyundai experience is ideal)
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude proficiency in diagnostic tools excellent problemsolving abilities and communication skills
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- License: Valid drivers license and clean driving record
